About The Instructor

Born and raised in SE Ohio in a sewing family with grandma being "the town seamstress." Have been sewing for 50+ years.

Other Sewing Experience Includes:
1. Sewing Instructor at Mid-East Ohio Career Center - Zanesville, OH
2. Owned and operated The Sewing Shop, New Concord, OH 1998-2004.
Was the authorized Elna machine dealer and taught many classes.
3. Started a sewing program at Austin Community College
4. Taught Sewing classes in "My Home or Yours" for serveral years
5. Retired after 20+ years as an Office Administrator in 4 major Austin high-tech companies.
6.Retail Store Manager of Fabrific Fabrics; Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 1970-72
7. Professional Seamstress of custom-made clothes and alterations for 10 years
